A verse to ponder today...

“But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.” -Isaiah 53:5-6 Listen to chapter

The winning number,  picked by my darlin lil' Goose
IS
The number 3

YAY WhoHOOO!!
Congratulations Frenchy on your history making win:)
YOU will forever be MY very FIRST "from the VINTAGE VAULT" winner. Guess that means I'll have to keep giving things away so you will have some company (grin) I would also like to thank the rest of you who became followers and/or left comments. I am looking forward to getting to know you all a little better!!

And now for my latest adventure..

My lil Goose received a BAG full of goodies. And then some that were not. This was a not so goodie. Now it is better I think. What is your opinion???
I know this pic isn't ALL that, but I wanted you to see the gold coloring. That is the original color of the shoe inside and out.
This is the color they are now.

I had to cover the little button on the side because the original fabric was coming off of it. Plus some other places, which is why I was repainting them to begin with.

If you look at the front shot of the shoe you can see the gold/pearl bead detail on  the "strap" too. Right now only one of the buttons is covered. Still have one to go. All I did was basic. Spray paint and then Acrylic Sealer( Which EXPLODED on me BTW) I thought I was going to "Seal" the entire neighborhood!! And then I attempted to make a rosette HA...I am NOT sure what to call this but it In NO WaY resembles a rosette. OhhhWeelllll. So what do you think??? They probably won't be Sunday Morning Shoes...But MayBE Wednesday Nights???
Thanks for waiting sooo patiently for this post. I will do better I promise!!!
I will love thee, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.              Ps. 18:1,2 KJV

Happy Monday!!
