The day is drawing near. The BIG day! Our birthday party for Jesus. Nothing is done. Good thing I work well under pressure:) HA, sure sounds good doesn't it?? Lucky for me there are some wonderful blogs out there with tons of wonderful ideas. Most of them are QUICK, CHEAP, and FUN to MAKE. So THERE Santa I'm going to get it done anyway...lol...funny how we (I) can psych ourselves(MYSELF) up isn't it? But, I am feeling somewhat energetic(till the coffee wears off ;)
If you are on my present list LEAVE now or at least act surprised on the BIG day! So far, I have some "wellness" kits to make. Double Chocolate Waffles, Chocolate Cobbler, and Chili mix to sift together. 2 aprons to put together, and.....OH YEAH, the reusable shopping bags to make and playdough and baby doll clothes for Emma. THIS is going to get good! Lucky for me there's recipes on ourbestbites and lollychops has amazing printouts!!

This adorable two piece ensemble was pieced together by ME...WHOHOO:) With no pattern I might add! Although a pattern would have been helpful. The top is too short:( and I HATE the ties on her top. However, as I am one of those "thrifty" people, we are waiting for "the right thing" to show itself(as in I find at a yard sale:) The outfit was repurposed from a juniors size skirt(size 11 I think?) and a denim placemat. The green tee was a gift, which works perfectly! The buttons I added are from the Kajilllion that I have laying around. This was the first thing that i "repurposed" that she could actually wear. I am still trying to translate measurements from body to material.....THIS may take awhile. LOL

I have a couple of other things done that I will try to get on soon!  I would love to hear what you think!

Well... so.... OK, I have a blog, NOW what??? In case that doesn't clarify: I have no idea what I am doing. Please bear with me :) I have to say that all of the great blog's I read during the SewMamaSew holiday giveaway inspired me. Exactly what that inspiration is I can't really say....YET. I'm workin' on it. I suppose the next step is to tell you a little more about ME :) Good thing I don't need whiteout in here!
